I started with adapted old Nikon and Canon FD lenses but today in 2024 after 11 years on the A7 I use Sony Zeiss lenses only. I am a Zeiss lens fan, and only Sony makes cameras for Zeiss lenses.

How do you change the shutter speed in manual mode? Could you do a video on the manual settings? It would help

Thank you so much for this video! This information doesn't seem to be in the manual for this camera and yet it is very important. Manual focus during video is necessary for many situations where the auto focus is confused!

You are such a good teacher. HX400 please. These videos do cross over pretty well Just some small differences.

I sure understand about taking a break from photography for various reasons. Back in 1989 I took a trip to Israel and purposely left my 35mm at home so I wouldn't be distracted by shooting pictures and changing film. Plus I knew I would be able to get some other people's pictures when we got back home. By the way, your brother is really good at basketball.

I am going to watch your expert series on the HX300 and apply what I can to my HX400V. But I hope you give us some more vids on the 400 please. For my Panasonic Lumix FZ80 there is a blogger named Graham Houghton who is basically the guru of Lumix cameras and everyone watches his videos and recommends them to others. I think you can be that for the HX400V. There's way too many unboxing videos and comparisons to Nikon b700 and p900 clogging up UA-cam. Please give us some more useful 400 content.

as our friend said at the end of this clip "if you're looking for a camera suitable for indoor, this is not a good one!!" . . I can't agree more with this statement! because I do have HX400V, and I really hate it when it comes to indoor videography! which is exactly what I do!! and why I bought the camera for!! . So in short "I made a terrible mistake! Cuz Sony HX400V is EXTRA-HORRIBLE for INDOOR!!"
